Join us for an unforgettable one-day guitar event in beautiful Quebec City — designed specifically for players ready to push their skills further.

Held at the Hilton Quebec, this intimate event is limited to just 16 participants to ensure a personal, focused learning experience with hands-on guidance from Lauren.

🎸 Pre-Event Preparation —
Before arriving, you’ll join two interactive Zoom sessions with Lauren. These lessons will help refine your strumming patterns, review chord transitions, and prepare you for collaborative playing, so you arrive ready to dive in the day of the event.

🎸 Arrival: Saturday, August 29 — Kick things off with a relaxed meet-and-greet at the Hilton’s bar, where you can connect with fellow guitarists before the big day.

 🎸 Event Day: Sunday, August 30 — Immerse yourself in a structured day of rhythm refinement, technique building, and collaborative playing.

You’ll play together with different guitarists, taking on various roles within a song — rhythm, lead textures, dynamics, and transitions — exploring how each part fits together to create a cohesive musical experience. This interactive approach makes learning feel natural and deeply engaging.

You’ll also strengthen your barre chord foundation, learning how to move fluidly between open-position and barre shapes, while maintaining solid strumming and timing.

To get the most out of this event, participants should:

• Play 8th-note strumming VERY comfortably
• Be comfortable with 16th-note strumming
• Have working knowledge of barre chords (like F and Bm shapes)

This ensures that everyone can fully participate in rhythm-based group exercises and ensemble arrangements.

This is an application-only event, designed to keep the group small and balanced, where every participant is at a similar playing level. This ensures that everyone can fully participate, stay challenged, and get the most out of the day.
