🧭 8 Weeks of Guided Fingerpicking Instruction

Over eight weeks, Lauren will guide you through focused fingerpicking work designed to help you develop better control, accuracy, timing, and musicality.

You’ll work on skills such as:

• Building independence between your thumb and fingers
• Improving string accuracy
• Keeping a steady rhythm
• Moving smoothly between chords
• Playing bass notes, plucks, walkdowns, and common picking patterns
• Adding dynamics and expression
• Applying fingerpicking techniques to real songs
• Creating a more organized and productive practice routine

The goal isn’t to rush through as many patterns as possible.

The goal is to help you understand the techniques, play them correctly, and develop the control needed to use them confidently in songs.

🎥 Weekly Live Fingerpicking Sessions & Q&A with Lauren

Each Tuesday, you’ll join Lauren for a live, small-group coaching session.

You’ll be able to:

• Practice fingerpicking techniques in real time
• Work through difficult patterns and transitions
• Ask questions about specific exercises or songs
• Play for Lauren and receive immediate feedback
• Learn by watching Lauren coach other students through similar challenges
• Get clear guidance about what to work on between sessions

Choose the session time that works best for your schedule:

Afternoon session: 2:00 p.m. ET
Evening session: 7:00 p.m. ET

 Can’t make a session live? No problem. All sessions will be recorded. You can submit your questions ahead of time, and you’ll have access to the replay so you can catch up on your own schedule.

 🎵 Personalized Feedback on Your Playing

This is where the “intensive” part really begins.

You’ll be able to submit up to three recordings of your playing during the program so Lauren can give you detailed, personalized feedback. 

Lauren can help you identify:

• Hand-positioning issues
• Inconsistent thumb movement
• Timing problems
• Muted or missed strings
• Tension in your picking hand
• Patterns that sound uneven or mechanical
• Small adjustments that can make a major difference in your sound

Instead of asking yourself, “Am I doing this right?” you’ll receive clear feedback directly from Lauren.

You’ll know what’s working, what needs improvement, and what to focus on next.

You’ll receive access to a private community exclusively for Fingerpicking Intensive students. You’ll be able to:

• Ask Lauren questions between live sessions
• Submit your playing videos
• Share progress and celebrate wins

• Stay accountable throughout the eight weeks

Learning fingerpicking can sometimes feel like your fingers are the only ones that won’t cooperate.

Inside the community, you’ll quickly discover that you aren’t alone—and you’ll have the support you need to keep going.

Session Replays and Continued Practice Support

Every live coaching session will be recorded and added to the program area.

You can revisit the sessions to:

• Review a technique Lauren demonstrated
• Practice along at your own pace
• Rewatch feedback about your playing
• Learn from questions asked by other students
• Reinforce the material after the eight-week program ends

You won’t have to remember everything Lauren says during a live call. You’ll be able to return to the recordings whenever you need a refresher.

The Fingerpicking Intensive is ideal for you if:

✅  You’re comfortable playing basic open chords.

✅ You can change between common chords at a slow or moderate tempo.

✅ You have tried at least a few basic fingerpicking exercises or patterns.

✅ You have some basic control over your thumb and picking fingers—even if that control is inconsistent.

✅ You can play a simple pattern slowly but struggle to keep it going through chord changes.

✅ You learn best with structure, accountability, and clear weekly priorities.

You do not need to be an advanced guitarist.

You don’t need to play complicated fingerstyle arrangements.

You simply need a basic foundation and a willingness to practice.

This intermediate strumming intensive is not a good fit if:

❌  You’re an absolute beginner who hasn’t learned basic open chords yet

❌ You have never tried fingerpicking and cannot yet control your thumb and fingers separately.

❌ You are still struggling to form basic chords clearly.

❌ You’re looking for a passive course to purchase but don’t plan to practice..

❌ You can’t realistically engage with either the live calls or the replays and community over the 8 weeks

This program is designed to help you refine and strengthen a basic fingerpicking foundation—not to introduce the guitar from the very beginning.
